Background

With a degree in biochemistry from Oxford University I could have gone on for hours about the life cycle of bacteria (what fun!?), but I knew very little about anything relevant to me getting a job. However, after spending a few weeks doing work experience at TEQUILA\ back in 2004, the one thing I did know was that this was a place I really wanted to work at.

What you have thought so far

The training was fantastic and was a great way to ease into the ‘world of work’. It also meant that when I started working on Canon I had a vague understanding of what people were talking about. So far the work has been great; the variety means that every day you feel challenged, some days you win…others you don’t, but what you learn doing it is invaluable.

Lowlight

Coming in really early one day to upload some work, only to discover my password wasn’t working…and no one would be around to get me a new one for 2 hours…

Highlight

The ‘celebrity style’ graduation party we hosted at TBWA\ after our training. The first time I briefed a piece of work in to creative on my own (it’s the small things!)
