The TEQUILA\ team took on and beat all-comers at the NAB’s Annual Rugby 7's tournament in April. Starting as the underdogs, TEQUILA\ shocked the clearly confident Channel 5 Champions and casually swept Iris aside in the semi-final. All that stood between the trophy and us was DDB. In the final, the team not only fell behind on three occasions but also trailed at half time for the first time in the tournament. However, TEQUILA\ superiority in the forwards began to tell and the backs clinically finished off a labouring DDB side to be crowned Champions. The battered and mangled players are now all fully recovered.
